Love Island host Maya Jama has set tongues wagging with rumours of a new romance with a professional footballer.The TV beauty was seen dining at Sa Capella in Ibiza to welcome 2023, reportedly sharing New Year's Eve with Manchester City's Ruben Dias.

Although the pair kept quiet about their plans, a snap that surfaced on social media suggests they enjoyed the evening together.

OK! has reached out to Maya and Ruben's reps, and Maya's declined to comment. Maya also shared an Instagram post from the same venue, where she looked gorgeous posing in a silky green dress with the caption: "Happy new year love you all." This isn't the first whisper of a potential link-up between Maya and Ruben as eagle-eyed fans noticed them following each other on social media after both attended the MTV EMAs in Manchester, with Ruben allegedly making the first move, reports the Daily Star.This follows Maya's split from her former beau Stormzy, with the ex-couple telling their followers: "We've been laughing whilst drafting this because we never, ever, in a million years thought we'd be the couple announcing a breakup." The former couple opened up about their split, saying: "But for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us the space and grace that's needed for us both to be able to navigate this next bit of our lives with peace, we thought it might be best to."
