Max George, member of The Wanted, has revealed he's undergoing urgent heart surgery today after being rushed to A&E last week.The 36 year old singer looked frail as he updated his fans via an Instagram video, saying: "Just prepping for the operation now, I feel like s**t, but fingers crossed." A few days ago, Max shared with his 383,000 followers that doctors discovered a 'block' in his heart and he might need a pacemaker to fix an issue with the lower part of his heart.

He explained: "I have a 2:1 block in my heart. Unfortunately my heart rate hasn't picked up at all in almost a week. Because of this, we don't have too much time to wait, so it looks like I'm going to be in surgery way quicker than the doctors first thought.

I may even be home for Christmas!" "The last few nights have been really rough, but I wanted to say that I'm absolutely humbled by all your messages of support.
