Actress Maureen Lipman has described the new socially distanced way of working on Coronation Street as “really weird” The long-running ITV soap paused production in March as the country entered lockdown to halt the spread of coronavirus.
Filming resumed in June, with safety measures in place, and this week it was announced Corrie would return to six episodes a week after recovering from the slowdown in production.
