Maura Higgins has thanked her "kind fans" for their support as she returned to the doctors for more tests on Thursday, March 17.The Love Island star shared a rare note addressed to her followers on her Instagram stories. "Just going through all of your lovely DMs..." the 31 year old reality TV favourite began. "I really do have the most amazing supportive followers & I probably don't say it enough but thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being so kind." The star recently said she was "on the road to recovery" after a mystery illness that caused her to lose a stone, but it's unclear if she's still suffering from the same issues.

She went on to address concerns over her latest visit to the doctors, but insisted it's just precaution. "Also a lot of you asking why I was back at the doctors today," she said. "I am currently getting tests done to find out what the problem is but I am ok." She also shared a snap of her waiting in the GP surgery, as she sat waiting for her appointment in the waiting room.
In the black and white image, Maura's followers glimpsed a water cooler, pamphlets, and various seating. Donning a pair of trainers and socks that read "f**k off", the star didn't mince her words on how she felt to be taking hours out of her day for a medical issue. "The socks are a mood because I'd rather be in the pub," the Dancing On Ice star captioned the photo.
