Maura Higgins’ Instagram grid is enough to give anyone wanderlust. But though it looks like the star has been jetting off to sunnier climes, she’s actually mainly been cheating a beachy look from the UK.

How, you ask? Using fake tan and some clever little hacks that make it look like she’s spent a week in Barbados, not London.

Our favourite is her clever way to get freckles without spending time in the sun. Maura takes a bobby pin (which we all have lying around somewhere) and dips the two-pronged end in the deep bronze eyeshadow shade from her new Inglot x Maura Paradise Wild Eyeshadow Palette, £20 here.

She then presses the end of the pin onto her cheeks and nose, and dabs the dots down a little to blend them.The finished result is.
