Now, in a statement, the family has written: "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother reports the Mirror."Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend.
You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."The 54-year-old Friends star was found on October 28 after reportedly drowning in his hot tub.
Law enforcement claimed 911 despatched responders at around 4pm local time after a report that the star had gone into cardiac arrest.When they arrived on the scene, responders began water rescue protocol after Matthew had seemingly drowned.
