Can’t help himself! Matthew Koma has earned a reputation as a troll over the years, getting laughs at the expense of other celebrities. The songwriter — who has been married to Hilary Duff since 2019 — revealed in April 2023 that his jokester ways had led to a permanent ban from Twitter.“Goodbye Twitter: The troll was worth it,” he wrote via his Instagram Story at the time alongside a screenshot of the message he received from the social media platform explaining that his account had been “permanently suspended.”The lifetime ban came after Koma changed the name on his Twitter profile to “Gwyneth Paltrow” amid the 50-year-old Goop founder’s March 2023 ski crash trial.
The musician also replaced his profile photo with a shot of the Shakespeare In Love actress. Big thanks @gwenythpaltrow [sic] for the inspiration.”The record producer previously took aim at Candace Cameron Bure after she shared a TikTok video of herself dressed head to toe in red, white and blue with Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.” playing in the background.
