A plan for how the UK's lockdown will end is slowly emerging - but the Health Secretary has warned it's "too soon" to stop now.

Matt Hancock today spelt out more of his thinking about how the UK will know when to ease restrictions on people's lives. The Cabinet minister said the key factor in easing lockdown will be speed at which new coronavirus cases come down.

But once it’s eased, there's the risk of a second peak - and lockdown being re-imposed - if the virus spikes again. So the key factor in lower restrictions will be a "test, track and trace" programme, designed to track down people who've been in contact with Covid-19 and swiftly isolate them.
