Matt Hancock was confronted live on air today by the son of a doctor who died after pleading for PPE. Dr Abdul Mabud Chowdhury warned the government about the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for NHS staff days before his death on April 8.

The 53-year-old consultant urologist is one of more than 100 NHS and social care workers who died after contracting coronavirus.
