EastEnders’ Matt Di Angelo has announced the joyful news that his wife has given birth to twins. He and his wife Sophia Perry shared that they were expecting twins earlier this year, and have now welcomed a healthy pair of babies.
Matt is known for playing the role of Dean Wicks, also known as Deano, on EastEnders. He featured on the show from 2006 - 2008 and subsequently from 2014 - 2016, taking a short break in 2015 Taking to Instagram on Tuesday 23 August, Matt, 35, shared a series of pictures of their bundles of joy and shared the sweet names they’ve chosen for them.
He wrote alongside the snaps: “My beautiful wife @sophiaperry has had two happy and healthy babies and begun raising them. Im in the kitchen trying to work out the steriliser.” Announcing their names, Matt added: “Welcome to the world ***Raphael & Daphne*** My dynamic duo.” The babies were born on Monday 15 August.
In the photo shared by the soap star, baby Raphael and Daphne can be seen side-by-side with their tiny hands touching one another.
