The 57-year-old actress was joined by her son William and daughter Caroline on the red carpet at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. Mary-Louise is nominated tonight for Best Actress in a Play for her role in The Sound Inside.
She previously won this award back in 2001 for her role in Proof. If Mary-Louise wins the award again, she will be only the eighth performer to win two trophies in the category!
Even though we’re in 2021, this is actually the 2020 Tony Awards because it’s the ceremony delayed from June 2020. The awards show will honor the best of Broadway’s 2019-20 season!
