‘Marvel Rivals’ announces ‘Spider-Man 2’ crossover
nme.comMarvel Rivals has announced a surprise crossover with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was developed by Insomniac games and was released towards the end of 2023.
The action-adventure game saw Peter Parker and Miles Morales team up to take on Kraven The Hunter after he turned New York City into a hunting ground for people with superpowers.The game was a critical success and still has a 8.8 Metacritic score.
Following the release, there were rumours about a sequel and a Venom-inspired spin-off but nothing has been confirmed yet, with Insomniac currently working on a Wolverine game.However fans will be able to play as the hero of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in Marvel Rivals from January 30, thanks to a new skin that will be available to purchase from the in-game shop.
No details about price have been confirmed yet.“The Advanced Suit 2.0 arrives to celebrate the PC launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!,” reads the announcement. “The Advanced Suit 2.0 blends Otto Octavius’s science with Peter Parker’s genius.
