The actress, who also appeared on EastEnders as Tiffany Mitchell, took to Instagram on Thursday, 22 August to reveal that she had split from Jack McManus after almost 20 years together.
In a heartbreaking statement she said: "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision." She went on to say they were 'grateful' for their nine-year-old son Rafferty and asked for privacy as they navigate the end of their marriage.
But news of their split came just weeks after Martine had gushed over her husband for his 40th birthday earlier this month. Alongside a series of family snaps, Martine wrote a heartwarming caption on 4 August and also paid tribute to her husband's father who had recently passed away.
