It's the cult Christmas classic we all look forward to coming on our screens every festive period - but one of its stars won't be tuning into the flick with a box of Quality Street this year.
Actress Martine McCutcheon, who plays Prime Minister's assistant Natalie in the movie, admitted to OK! she's not a fan of watching herself on screen - despite her family's pleas to tune in with them.
She told OK!:“I hate watching myself on screen. “I can do it on set when I’m in work mode, because I can be objective. But when I’m off guard, off duty and at home, and then I come on screen, I still find it really disconcerting.
I’ve been doing this since I was nine and I still can’t get used to it! I feel really uncomfortable watching myself. All my family love watching it and I’m like, ‘Call me back in when I’m off!’” And while Martine may not be watching the film like all of us over the Christmas period, it's clear she's immensely proud of being part of the much-loved flick. “As I’ve become older, I appreciate more than ever what the film stands for and the fact it’s still mega relevant,” she said. “That’s probably one of the proudest things I’ve ever done – to be part of such a beautiful message. There’s a lot of uncertainty in life and it’s the good stuff that keeps you pushing forward and hopeful. That’s what I’m all about.” The film has an all star cast - including acting legends such as Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman.
