Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has issued an important warning to drivers after MOT rules were changed this week.On Monday, Roads minister Baroness Vere announced that from August 1, MOT tests will once again be mandatory.Baroness Vere said: "As people return to our roads, it is vital that motorists are able to keep their vehicles safe.
That’s why as restrictions are eased, from 1 August MOT testing will again become mandatory."Garages across the country are open and I urge drivers who are due for their MOT to book a test as soon they can."MOT tests were temporarily given a six month exemption at the start of lockdown.Now Martin Lewis has issued his advice on MOTs.Posting on Twitter, he warned: "MOT tests to restart on 1 August.
