Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning to all energy customers who have been moved by Ofgem on to E.on Next after their supplier went bust.
Tens of thousands of people who were previously with smaller firms including Igloo, Symbio and Enstroga were transferred on to E.ON Next’s gas and electricity supply, but during this week’s Money Show Live, the consumer champion explained to viewers how E.on has “struggled” to get customer details across to automatically set up direct debit mandates for bill payments.
Which means customers need to set up a new direct debit with E.on by Friday, December 3 or risk paying around £100 more on their annual bill.
