Martin Bashir was spotted looking sprightly after it was said he was "too ill" to help with the BBC Panorama investigation. The journalist is alleged to have told 32 lies to secure his famous interview with Princess Diana back in 1995, and retired judge Lord Dyson has been brought in to head up the BBC's probe into it.

The independent investigation has even been hailed as a "step in the right direction" by the late Princess' eldest son Prince William.

But Martin has not been involved so far. The official word was that he was "too ill" to help with the probe after contracting coronavirus in the summer and later undergoing a quadruple heart bypass.
