Married singer takes out advert in search for 'love of his life' he met 45 years ago

A married soul singer has declared his undying love for a woman he met 45 years ago. Len Coley and his group Delegation had a string of disco hits in the mid-1970s.

It was during that time that he met an Australian woman from Sydney called Philippa. While she was visiting the United Kingdom they met and fell in love, only for Len to sacrifice the burgeoning relationship due to commitments he had to his band.

He turned down an invitation to return to Australia with her, something he has regretted for the 45 years since. Now Len, who is married to Myriam and is in his 70s, has issued a public declaration of love for the one that got away.
