Marley Watkins an Aberdeen target as Bristol City striker faces loan choice

McInnes has no experienced frontmen for tonight’s game at St Johnstone, with Sam Cosgrove, Curtis Main and on-loan Ryan Edmondson are all injured.
McInnes made it his priority after he agreed a deal to sign Ross McCrorie from Rangers earlier this week. He has a shortlist of strikers and has been a fan of Watkins since his time at Inverness.
A move to land him when he left Caley Thistle failed when Barnsley secured a deal. Watkins has since had spells at Norwich City and Bristol.
