The loved-up couple, who tied the knot in 2015, hit the red carpet last week at the star-studded National Television Awards.
Stockport-born Michelle was among the nominees and had three opportunities to take home silverware from the star-studded ceremony, which took place at London's O2 Arena.
Sky comedy Brassic, in which Michelle plays one of the lead character's Erin Croft was nominated for the comedy category but lost out to Mrs Brown's Boys.
