Fans have compared Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's home to the house in the popular Christmas film Home Alone. The happy couple have unveiled their Christmas decorations on Instagram, sharing a post to the page dedicated to their home, and the transformation its gone through since being purchased. The lavish property has been covered in festive lights for the Christmas period, and although they're yet to reveal the interior, it's clear they've spared no expense with a huge tree being visible through the open door.

Captioning the clip, they wrote: "Tis the season [santa emoji] [Christmas tree emoji] They’ve done it again @4.seasonevents came at the weekend whilst we wasn’t in and created Christmas magic." Fans were quick to comment, with many comparing it to the home shown in Home Alone.

One wrote: "Home alone house!" to which another replied: "just thought exactly that x" And a third added: "Beautiful, it looks like the Home Alone House, only better xx" However, others were quick to argue that it was "too early" to be putting up Christmas decorations, seeing as we are still over a month away from Christmas Day. "Very nice but too early" wrote one, as another added: "Too early man mark!" Mark and Michelle started building their "dream home" after they bought it for £1.3 million in 2019, and in August this year finally celebrated as they completed their £3.5m Essex pad.To mark the occasion the pair threw a lavish festival-themed party in their garden which boasts a large swimming pool and an enormous patio area. They have since been showing off both the inside and outside of the mansion, although some social media users have been left unimpressed with the home's colour scheme.
