The first cast member for the Harry Potter television series appears to have been found! It’s being reported that Oscar winner Mark Rylance is being eyed for the role of Professor Dumbledore in HBO’s upcoming seven-season series.

Variety reports that Mark is “at the top of the casting wishlist” for the project. He “hasn’t yet entered into negotiations with the actor, but the studio has reached out to gauge interest and availability.” Mark won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Bridge of Spies and he’s also starred in movies like The BFG, Ready Player One, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Bones and All, and The Outfit.
