For 20-year-old Alice Kinsella, that dream became a reality when she picked up a bronze medal with the British gymnastics team – the reality still hasn’t sunk in for her. ‘We didn’t expect to win a medal, we just expected to go out and enjoy it and get the experience.
Coming away with bronze and standing on that podium feels absolutely amazing,’ she told press following the event. ‘It doesn’t actually feel real.
