Warwick Davis, the British actor who has played various roles in the Star Wars franchise, got a tribute from Luke Skywalker himself as he was garlanded with BAFTA’s highest honor.

Mark Hamill described Davis as “one of the hardest working men in showbusiness” as he received the Fellowship prize at the BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday.

Hamill joked that Davis has more Star Wars credits than himself and that he followed up the mega-franchise with another in the shape of Harry Potter.

Davis was celebrated by BAFTA for his prolific career and role in creating a more inclusive screen industry. George Lucas was among others who paid tribute to Davis, saying he was a “great actor.” An emotional Davis, who unexpectedly lost his wife last year, thanked his loved ones — including his children — for helping him learn to “laugh and love again.” He joked: “This is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me — and I’ve been in Star Wars.” Tom Felton, who starred as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, presented Davis with the award, revealing that the actor taught him his first spell at Hogwarts.
