Known for being one of the poshest personalities on TV, Mark-Francis Vandelli rose to reality fame back in 2011 when he joined the soon-to-be hit show Made In Chelsea.The star, who recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating, slotted perfectly into the SW3-based cast but has now revealed that he didn't know any of his co-stars before joining.
Chatting with OK! this week, Mark said: "I was the black sheep. I didn’t know a single person. I had a jewellery shop on Mount Street and my lawyer worked for Fremantle Media.
He told me it’d be good PR for my shop. I said thank you but I’m not interested. I didn’t have time. "Then before I knew it two casting agents came to my house.
Someone let them in.They recorded an interview with me. Before I knew it, I was at Raffles Nightclub at midday [filming]." A large portion of the Made In Chelsea cast is known for running in the same circles, with stars such as Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing knowing one another from the age of 15.
