Mark Dobies, ‘Guiding Light’ and ‘One Life to Live’ actor, dead at 65

His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. May he fly high like his Birds off to heaven,” the obituary added.Alan Locher, former publicist for “Guiding Light,” posted an Instagram about Dobies’ death on Wednesday.

Locher called the news “really sad and unexpected” and said Dobies died “far, far too young.”“I was lucky to work with Mark at Guiding Light and always knew him as a genuinely good guy,” Locher wrote, adding, “Please keep his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
