Mariah Carey smashes Halloween pumpkins, celebrates start of holiday season

posted a short video to the social media site, in which she is seen standing at a front door as the opening of her iconic Yuletide track “All I Want For Christmas Is You” plays in the background.

The five-time Grammy winner wields a giant candy cane and a coy look on her face as she opens the door and steps out onto the stoop.

The front of the home is covered with carved pumpkins, which apparently displeases the superstar singer, who starts smashing the Jack o’lanterns with her cane. “It’s tiiiime!” Carey squeals, destroying the Halloween decorations with delight in her latest perennial video. “Smash that pumpkin and treat it as pie… cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving,” she wrote at the end of the video.
