Margot Robbie shared her approval of Lady Gaga's casting as Harley Quinn for Joker: Folie a Deux during an interview with MTV News that was shared on Thursday.The 32-year-old actress expressed that she was excited to see the 36-year-old hitmaker take up the mantle of the supervillain in the upcoming DC Comics movie during the sit-down.The Academy Award–nominated actress previously portrayed the character in both Suicide Squad movies, as well as the spinoff Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn).

The performer then expressed that she was grateful to have been given the role of a historical figure, who had been portrayed by other actresses in the past, in her much-celebrated movie Mary Queen of Scots.
