A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, an upcoming film starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, has had its release date delayed.

Originally set to premiere on May 9, 2025, the movie will now be released on September 19, 2025. Keep reading to find out more… Sony apparently made the decision to push back the date to Fall 2025 because the “female-centered” storyline will “stand out” during a time period where more “horror and male-centered titles” are released, according to Variety.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey tells the story of “two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them.” Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Hamish Linklater will also have roles in the film.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey will be Margot‘s first feature released since 2023, when she starred in Barbie.
