Starring Margot Robbie as Barbie, and Ryan Gosling as Ken, Gerta Gertwig's film follows the couple on a journey of self-discovery following an existential crisis.
And it's generally been praised by critics, with Empire calling it "painfully funny", and the Independent saying it was "joyous from minute to minute." But it seems Margot, 33, was into the whole Barbiecore vibe way before the hit movie was even a glimmer in its writer's eye – as the star channelled the look during her character Donna Freedman's wedding on Neighbours, an incredible 13 years ago.
In the popular soap, Donna was marrying Ringo Brown, played by Sam Clark, and the 6000th episode saw the happy day, designed to "recreate the magic" of the 1987 wedding of Scott and Charlene (Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue).
