Margaret Qualley is starring in something new at Netflix! The streamer has just released the trailer for their upcoming show Maid, which stars the actress as Alex, a bright young woman who ends up homeless after getting out of an abusive relationship. Click inside to read more about the show… Alex begins working as a cleaning maid while living in a shelter with her daughter, Maddy (Rylea Neaeh Whittet), navigating her new job as well as the Maddy’s father’s fight to regain custody of his daughter.

The limited series is an adaptation of the real-life memoir Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive by Stephanie Land. Nick Robinson and Margaret‘s mom Andie MacDowell also star in the show.
