Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has hinted at a new project after asking vulnerable families in Greater Manchester to get in touch with him.
The Manchester United striker said he wanted to 'better understand' the lives of the most vulnerable people living in the region.He said the chance to spend time with families during his free school meals campaign, had led him to focus on the 'bigger picture.'"It was only a matter of time...," the player, originally from Wythenshawe, tweeted."I knew the voucher scheme was only sticking plaster and now that I've had the opportunity to spend time with the most vulnerable families we need to switch focus to the bigger picture."I've never claimed to have the answers but I want to listen.
