The England and Reds striker sent a letter and present to nine-year-old Jacob Worthington after spotting the charity work the youngster had been doing on Twitter.
And the letter left the family in tears with its message of always being kind. Jacob, from St Helen's, has been inspired by United star Marcus to raise funds for Fare Share, the charity ensuring no child goes hungry, as well as for a host of other local charities.
