Marc McNulty is back to spearhead Dundee United ’s Premiership restart. The on-loan Reading striker has fully recovered from a hamstring injury and surgery and is back training with Tam Courts ’ first team.

The former Scotland frontman will come back into the United fold for Tuesday’s Tannadice clash with St Mirren. McNulty had to be held back before the break because he was so desperate to be involved earlier.

United will also try and bolster their striking options by trying to strike a deal for the Premiership’s top scorer, Tony Watt, with Motherwell, rather than waiting until the summer when his pre-contract agreement starts.
