Police are appealing for information after a woman was the victim of an attempted robbery in Aberdeen.The 60-year-old was approached by another woman on Hilton Drive around 6.15am on Friday, January 8.
The thug tried to grab her handbag, causing a struggle, before making off empty-handed.Police are now appealing to anyone who may have any information about the incident to come forward.She is described as aged in her 40s to 50s, of a larger build, with brown hair.She was wearing a dark jacket with a floral pattern, dark trousers and dark boots.Detective Sergeant Emma Low said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to get in touch.“In particular I would ask anyone driving in the area at the time who may have dash-cam footage.
