Manchester weather: Glorious sunshine forecast for weekend as temperatures set to rise

Greater Manchester has enjoyed warm, sunny weather over the past few days. Temperatures reached around 18C over the weekend as the clocks went forward, bringing lighter nights and longer days.

Good Scottish weather could only last so long and the Met Office has issued an update about when exactly things will take a turn.

It’s going to be another warm and sunny weekend in Greater Manchester. And what better way to spend it than going for a walk with family and friends, enjoying a few drinks in a beer garden or kicking back in your own back yard?

Temperatures are set to fall off a cliff next week as snow returns to the UK following a brief hot spell.This week saw the hottest day of the year so far as the mercury hit 21C but, as always with our weather, that couldn't last forever. According to advanced weather modelling maps from WX Charts, the white stuff is set to return one day next week as temperatures nosedive.
