Manchester United youngster Dylan Levitt has admitted that it was a "great feeling" to net his first senior goal after scoring in Dundee United's 2-1 win over Kilmarnock in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday afternoon.

With the contest at Rugby Park level at 1-1 at the end of normal time, Levitt netted his first goal of his senior career in extra time to seal the Tangerines' path to the fifth round.

The Welshman — who joined the Scottish outfit on loan from United for the season back in August — picked the ball up just outside the penalty area and a very quick change of feet once inside the box enabled him to fire a low, left-footed effort into the bottom corner, leaving Kilmarnock goalkeeper Zachary Hemming with no chance between the sticks.

With 1,600 Dundee supporters having made the trip to Rugby Park, Levitt admitted that it was a special feeling to have netted his first senior goal with so many away fans in attendance. "It was my first senior goal and I'm very happy for myself, the team and the travelling fans," Levitt said, as quoted by The Herald. "We got what we deserved from the game and we found a way to win. "It's always good to get into the next round.
