Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has claimed that Brentford star Christian Eriksen would improve Manchester United amid rumours he could be on the move this summer.
The Danish midfielder’s future has been the subject of much speculation with his contract expiring in June. Eriksen signed a six-month deal with the Bees in January and has rebuilt his career after collapsing with a heart attack while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020.
Eriksen has returned to fitness and his creativity, vision and ability to retain possession have played a vital role in Thomas Frank’s side avoiding relegation in their maiden Premier League season.
The 30-year-old’s impressive form has seen him linked with a number of clubs including former side Spurs, where he spent six-and-half-seasons before leaving for Inter in January 2020.
