The Swedish winger was a revelation when he made his senior debut at the back end of last season. Though he didn’t score in the 2-1 defeat to Leicester, he do so days later in his first start at Old Trafford – a 2-1 victory against Wolves.
Elanga continued his goalscoring feats in pre-season, finding the back of the net against Queens Park Rangers and then again with a tremendous volley against Brentford in a 2-2 draw.
