The Manchester United takeover process does not look like ending anytime soon. The addition of Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus as a third publicly-known bidder keen on acquiring a controlling stake in the club from the Glazer family has reinvigorated the initial two-horse race.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani also tabled revised offers last week. Another round of bidding seems inevitable, though, as the added competition has yet to drive up the price sufficiently enough for the Glazers to flinch.

That's according to ESPN, who also claims Thomas Zilliacus' late entry - which is "on the same level" as the other two public bidders - also falls short of the mark.
