Manchester United stars paid their respects to Sir Alex Ferguson's late wife Lady Cathy Ferguson on Monday. Lady Cathy, who married Sir Alex in 1966, passed away earlier this month aged 84 and her funeral took place in Glasgow.
Friends and family attended the funeral and David Beckham, Gary Neville, Bryan Robson, Steve Bruce, Nicky Butt, Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Ji-Sung Park were among the former players to pay their respects. In a statement earlier this month, the Ferguson family said: "We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing yesterday of Lady Cathy Ferguson, survived by her husband, three sons, two sisters, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family asks for privacy at this time." Sir Alex has spoken about Lady Cathy previously, praising her influence on their children and grandchildren.
