Manchester United star Victor Lindelof hit by object thrown by spectator in FA Cup final

Bruno Fernandes coolly stepped up to slot the ball away to make it 1-1 on 33 minutes after Ilkay Gundogan’s opener for City after 12 seconds - a record for the quickest goal scored in an FA Cup final. ALSO READ: Man City vs Manchester United LIVE In the celebrations for United’s goal, an object thrown from an area where Manchester City fans were sitting hit Lindelof in the face, causing him to fall to the floor.
Video footage appeared to show it was a lighter that had been thrown. Fernandes and Casemiro appeared to both take issue with the crowd while a number of other United players made referee Paul Tierney aware of what had happened.
