Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, is at risk of a two-match suspension ahead of the Liverpool game. The midfielder is just two yellow cards away from a two-match ban.
He has already received eight yellow cards this season. If a player gets 10 yellow cards in their club's first 32 Premier League matches, they are automatically banned for two games.
Fernandes has already had one suspension this season after getting five yellow cards. This meant he missed the 0-0 draw with Liverpool on December 17.
Now, he could miss league fixtures against Bournemouth and Sheffield United if he receives a yellow card against Chelsea on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday.
