Manchester United are not expecting any more additions beyond Antony and Martin Dubravka on transfer deadline day. United have held discussions about a possible season-long loan of Sergino Dest, 21, but are set to be saddled with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka, 24, has started in four of the last 29 Premier League games and former United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to sign Kieran Trippier last year. United manager Erik ten Hag indicated on Wednesday Wan-Bissaka would stay beyond Thursday night's deadline. "Aaron will stay in," Ten Hag said. "So this squad, we will go from September to minimum January but we will play with this squad this season.
United are due to officially confirm the arrivals of Antony from Ajax and Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka today. James Garner is on the verge of completing a transfer to Everton for a maximum fee of £15m after United sanctioned his sale three weeks ago.
