Manchester United 'receive Ivan Toney transfer verdict' and other rumours

The 27-year-old Bees forward is currently banned from footballing activities after admitting 232 betting breaches. However, the eight-month punishment is set to end on January 17 allowing Toney to continue his career in the new year.
Before his ban, Toney was in the form of his life and notched an impressive 20 Premier League goals last season. With question marks surrounding his form upon his return to football, there has been speculation as to whether another team will look to make a move for the Englishman in the winter window. For this reason, the Bees have set an £80m price tag for Toney which is unlikely to be matched by United due to their budgetary constraints.
