Manchester United recorded their first seven-goal victory under Erik ten Hag to thrash Barnsley 7-0 in the League Cup third round at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag made eight changes from the side that defeated Southampton 3-0 in the Premier League on Saturday. Marcus Rashford killed any chance of a shock with the 16th-minute opener, Antony converted a penalty and Alejandro Garnacho were also on the scoresheet before half-time.
Garnacho struck again early in the second half and Rashford got his third of the campaign. Christian Eriksen scored two late on to record United's first seven-goal victory under Ten Hag.
