Manchester United footballer Brandon Williams has appeared in court charged with dangerous driving after a crash in Cheshire.
The Audi A3 S Line he was driving was involved in a collision on the A34 Ainslie Way in Wilmslow, in August 2023. Mr Williams, 23, from north Manchester, is also accused of driving without insurance.
On Friday (April 19) he appeared before a judge at Chester Crown Court where the charges were put to him. Mr Williams, whose address at court was given as Harpurhey, appeared in the dock wearing a black suit, white shirt and navy tie. He is now due to stand trial next Spring. Judge Simon Berkson said the hearing, listed for March 17, 2025, was expected to last three days.
