Manchester United are reportedly 'knocking on the doors of Napoli' to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as the Reds look to recruit a new forward in the summer transfer window - but face competition for his signature from both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
According to Il Mattino, United are keen on the 24-year-old, who has registered 20 goals and four assists in 24 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
It adds that Premier League rivals Chelsea and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also interested in the prolific frontman, who it is claimed wants to 'get off the carousel' and settle down somewhere after moving clubs four times in six years.
It is thought that any club looking to sign Osimhen will reportedly have to pay in excess of the €140m asking price. The player is under contract with Napoli until 2025, which means the Italian outfit are under no pressure to sell their talisman.
