Sporting Clube de Portugal star Morten Hjulmand says it is a goal of his play in the Premier League in the near future. The midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford after his solid displays in Lisbon.
Despite only joining Sporting last summer, he has already become a key player for boss Ruben Amorim. Bruno Fernandes has certainly become a fan of the Denmark international during his time at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The United skipper said: "The two in midfield, I love [Hidemasa] Morita and Hjulmand. They’re two vital players in Sporting’s game, especially when they have to have more of the ball and be more tactically organised." He said: "I’d say that it is a destination I could see myself going to in the future. Whether it’s a dream, I don’t know. But it is a goal for me to play in the Premier League one day." Also responding to Fernandes' comment, he added: "It’s always great to receive praise from other big profiles.
