Manchester United get huge double injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace fixture

Manchester United duo Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund trained with the main group at Carrington on Wednesday in preparation for Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Mount, who has missed each of United's last three matches with a muscle issue, was understood to have returned to first-team training earlier this week.

The Manchester Evening News, on Monday, reported that the former Chelsea man could return from his spell on the sidelines sooner than originally anticipated.

The midfielder, 25, started each of United's opening three competitive fixtures this season, but was forced off in the 2-1 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion last month.
